I got the name of this company
from Angie's List. I decided to use them because they had an "A"
rating in all categories (quality, price, service, etc.). My air
conditioner of 16 years went out on me one afternoon and when I
called a salesman came to see me the next day. He was very
personable and professional. His estimate to install a new Trane
system was lower than I thought it would cost and they installed
the new unit they very next day (Saturday). I would definitely
use this company again and would recommend it to anyone else
needing a new air conditioner.
PS - The high SEER rating of my
new air unit will quality me for a tax rebate.

There is nothing more upsetting
than to have contractors encroaching on your home and on your
peace and quiet. That was the thought we had prior to contacting
Larry Littau at Air Factor Cooling and Heating. When the time
arrived to give up our old air/heat unit, I contacted several
companies. With a doubt Air Factor rose to the top. Their
product (Trane) coupled with the experience and knowledge that
came forward after meeting Larry, was outstanding. All of my
questions and concerns were addressed and answered to my
satisfaction. Another thing that did not hurt was that they were
the most competitive with other others in the market, even with
the lesser product. The installation went smoothly with no
interference to our daily lives. I have also found that once the
unit is on your roof, you are not forgotten. These people are
there for you, full time. My wife and I would be the first to
recommend Air Factor! Honestly, we would recommend this company
to all of you out there, even to your grandmother!

We were getting
no heat from our furnace. Travis came to the house and began
diagnosis at the thermostat in the hall and then went into the
attic where he performed a complete check-up and found the hot
surface igniter was bad. He showed me the part and explained how
it works, and I could see where it had broken. He gave me the
price and I agreed. He had to order the part since it's a
non-stock item, and returned with it the next day. In addition
to replacing the part, he performed a complete operation check
so we know there's no other problem hanging over us. The office
customer service was superb as was Travis'. They were willing to
schedule the visit within my time frame, and assured me that if
it became critical, I should call and they'd come out right
away. Not only were they prompt, but they were more than
supportive of me when I had to re-schedule - with only a few
hours notice on my part - for a couple of days later because of
my asthma attack. Travis was prompt on the next scheduled day
also, and arrived with the part as planned. They took a credit
card, which was helpful for such a relatively costly and
unplanned expense. I felt well cared for, was assured that my
heating unit is in good shape, and that they have a well run and
competent establishment. I plan on having them do regular
maintenance and service for my a/c and heating from now on.
