My 10-year-old AC system went
into death spasms on a Friday evening not completely dead but
definitely terminal. By Sunday it was grim inside the
dying unit couldn't do better than 87 with it 114 outside.
I checked Angie's List and chose Air Factor because of their
great marks and remarks, and while at their company website on
Sunday afternoon I fired off an email, not expecting to hear
from them until Monday and planning to call their office at 7 am
Monday. Larry contacted me on Sunday evening responding to
the email and set an appointment for 7 am Monday, asking if
being a few minutes early would be OK. Cool. 6:50 am
Monday Larry is at the door, we have a deal, all approvals, and
all the parts needed confirmed available and ordered by 9am.
Very cool. The install technicians were on-site and
working at 9:30am. Very cool indeed!! Laid down
drop-cloths everywhere they would be walking. Excellent!
Out with the old, in with the new - these guys knew how to do it
and hustled. The job wasn't easy as air handler is in the
attic with very poor access in a two-story house, and had to be
broken down into many pieces passed through a small hole, then
reassembled and connected in 110-degree Phoenix heat in among
the rafters and the rock wool insulation. Not my version
of fun. Chip and Beau worked solid until 8:45 pm, and the
house was clean and cooling down nicely as they left.
Larry has scheduled a follow-up visit to top off the system for
Wednesday morning - meanwhile the system is performing
flawlessly. Done Right Deal !! P.S. They beat
the quoted price from a 'big box' dealer by 30%

We received the most
comprehensive analysis of our needs and the most competitive
estimates from Air Factor and one other contractor. Both
did a Heat Load Analysis. Neither gave me a hard sell and
just asked me what I wanted. Then they answered all of my
many questions in detail and presented several options.
There are two reasons I went with Air Factor (in addition to
there top rating on Angie's List) : The more complete analysis
and better options offered to me and the fact that Air Factor
appears to have more experienced installers. Air Factor
also prepared and submitted my SRP rebate and we actually
received it a week after the A/C was installed.

We received quotes from three
companies including Air Factor, and Air Factor was by far more
comprehensive. We could've gone with a less expensive unit and
paid less with another company, but just liked that Air Factor
received a lot of good recommendation from other home owners.
Gary made sure that he reviewed our old home and gave us some
options to make sure that our newly installed unit was working
to its full potential. We thought that the information he
provided was truthful and wasn't excessive just trying to make
some extra $$.

It's hard to say anyone is
perfect - but your company is awfully close. My experience

Just keep doing what you are
doing. You met my expectations and I learned a lot about
my unit thanks to Gary. My Experience with Air Factor
started about three years ago when my son in law referred them
to me to check my 1986 unit. They were real nice and told
me my unit was holding its own and to call when I needed a new
one, so I did. I am very pleased with the service.
The main thing is Gary took the time to explain everything to

Larry came out to put in a new
thermostat, they also checked out our heating system. Last
summer they checked the refrigeration. They were just fantastic!

I've dealt with AC installers and
repairman before and this team is definitely a cut above most.
I preceded my husband to our AZ home to find the AC wasn't
working and the smoke detector wouldn't stop beeping even with a

We called Thursday evening and
they offered to come right out. We said we could wait
until the morning. They came out and determined our A/C
was not working any longer. We had them give us an
estimate. They sent out Gary to give us a bid on a new

Larry arrived right on time and
was very courteous and professional. He pointed out the
water dripping from our roof was condensation that wasn't
draining properly due to a blocked line. He cleared the
blockage and suggested installing a short bit of new drain line
to have the water flow down to our gutters instead of through
the rust old pipe along the side of the house. This was a
great idea, since we will be repainting the house shortly, and
can now just remove that old pipe completely. I was VERY
IMPRESSED with Larry's integrity and concern not only for our
A/C, but for the exterior of our home as well. He could
have easily tried to mislead us and sell products and services
that we did not need - but instead he treated us just like
family. I would heartily recommend Air Factor to anyone
needing honest evaluation and A/C or heating work.

Two years ago Air Factor did the
annual maintenance check on our AC system. At that time we
talked about the age and inefficiency of the current unit and a
price was quoted for two possible replacement units. The
following year my husband contacted another company for the
annual check-up (He didn't ask me who I had used previously!).
When our old system died on a hot Monday evening in July, we
talked about whom to call for a new system. He remarked
that he was not very impressed with the company he had used.
I was on the phone at 7 the following morning with Air Factor.
By 11am Gary was at our home and spent all the time I needed
going over our options and pricing. I explained that we
had a rep from a nationwide home improvement store coming by for
a quote. After making a call Gary gave me the latest time
that I could set up the deal with Air Factor and still get a
replacement installed on Thursday. (The next day was
Independence Day so it was not possible to get the necessary
metal work done until Thursday morning.).
To our surprise, the nationwide
home improvement store's rep was unable to meet Air Factor's
price. As soon as I called Gary he set everything in
motion...and even came by to leave a small AC unit for our
master bedroom so we could avoid the additional expense of a
hotel stay!
On Thursday, Chip and Beau
arrived when scheduled and finished early. There was no
mess left for us to clean-up. The new-fangled thermostat
was explained and my husband was taught how to use it.
When Gary come by to make sure everything was okay he mentioned
that it could take about 6 hours to cool the house down to the
selected temperature. Within 4 hours ALL the rooms in the
house were cool, including the three bedrooms on the west side
of the house. In the 6 years we have owned the home, those
rooms have NEVER been cool. The unit quiet. The
house is cool. We are THRILLED!
P.S. - While visiting friends
last evening two couples were complaining about the poor service
from the AC company they've used for years. Why would
anyone put up with that, when there excellent customer service
and competitive pricing available through Air Factor? Of
course, we've recommended they switch companies!
P.P.S. - The Dynamic Air Cleaner
that Gary recommended because of our allergy problems is
awesome! My husband's sneezing is almost nonexistent, and
I can breathe through my nose! Even our dog is breathing
better if you can believe that!

Dear Air Factor Team -
Once again you have come through
for us! Over the last few years we've had Air Factor work
on our home air conditioning system and also the one at our
rental. The on-time service and parts have always been the
best. Yesterday afternoon (Thursday) I noticed the AC was
putting out "warm" air - of course, it was after 5pm so we left
a message on the Air Factor message system. We have 3
healthy adults in our home so we just asked for a call as early
as possible in the morning. Needless to say, Mike's call

AC unit stopped working during
the middle of the night. They were the only company that
could come out the day I called. I had arranged for two
other companies to come later in the week as I though I
would/might need to replace this 12 year old original unit.
Air Factor called me at work prior to their visit as promised so
I could meet them at my home. The home has two units and I
thought I might be looking at replacing one, or both, units. I
was very happy to learn, the unit could be fixed for $160 plus
labor. The service man was very professional, answered my
questions and thought I might get 3-5 more years of service from
the units and I will certainly contact them for a quote when the
time comes. I was very happy with the service I received

We went with a 14 SEER unit with
a new air handler and the CleanEffects - of the latter we can
not say enough good things about the air cleaner - my wife
suffers from migraine headaches and since the new system with
the CleanEffects was installed she no longer wakes up with even
a hint of a headache. We have had to dust less often and
the air just smells cleaner and fresher when we come home at
night. Not to say the least with it being 100+ every day
the house is a very comfortable 78 degrees. Very quiet
outside unit and the air handler does a great job. Glad we
went with a Trane unit.

Dear Air Factor,
Thank you so much, I love my new
Air Conditioner. We went with the split system XL Series
and love it. Our house is so cold that we had to turn it
up to 80...never in the middle of an Arizona summer did I think
I would be saying that. I know we had other work done so
it is not all the system, but we are so impressed. We did
shop around before settling on Air Factor. What set you
above for us was your website - to see your licenses was GREAT.
Then to have a service call on our old A/C and not be given the
hard sell was hard to believe. Your service tech was so
trustworthy. In this day and age that is wonderful.
Then to receive a call after our service call...WOW. We
knew we needed to replace our 16 year old A/C. Your
company made our experience very enjoyable it is never easy
these days to spend the kind of money that a new A/C requires,
but I am confident that we had it put in by the best company
possible and if we ever choose to sell our house, our A/C will
be a selling point. Your employees were on time, wore name
badges, they worked so hard I had to force them to take a lunch
break (they showed up at 6am and left at 5pm). They put
tarps down and when they were done you would never have know we
had anyone in the house. And best of all they watched out
for our 15 year old blind and deaf dog.

Just as it was getting hot, both
of our A/C systems went out in our 2-story home. It was
devastating to hear that our compressors were bad and we needed
two new systems. We called six companies to get estimates
on this urgent job. We spent an entire day with
contractors coming out to our home - so we had a pretty good
comparison of companies, their work ethic, integrity & prices.
Mike from Air Factor was our last bid and right away we noticed
a difference. He provided all the information we needed,
gave us complete confidence and offered a very competitive
price. Mike found a way for us to get upgraded systems and

Gary was here on Monday, the A/C
was installed on Thursday. He was back to check the
everything on Friday. Could not ask for better service.
Everything was just as he said - all arrived on time. They
were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
I will recommend Air Factor

In Mid-May of this year, I had
the pleasure of using your service for and A/C repair.
Not only did the technician show
up at the expected time, he was professional and informative.
My unit was back on board in 15 minutes. But, it gets
better. My girlfriend down the street, Marsha, called me
as Monty was completing the paperwork and asked me who I used
for my A/C. I told her about your company and asked Monty
if he was free to attend to her unit. Well, he was, and
quickly went to her home and determined the problem. My
friend was only without her air for about 24 hours, thanks to
your company.
I have to commend you for a
well-run business and particularly applaud Monty for his
courtesy and professionalism.

I called Air Factor one morning
after finding them on Angie's List. Christie was very
courteous and personable on the phone and scheduled an
appointment for the following afternoon. She called back a
little later asking if I'd be able to change that to a morning
appointment, between 7:30 and 9:30am, and that was fine with me.
Monty called me at 7:30 to let me know he'd be here in 30-45
minutes and he was. He diagnosed the problem and tuned it
up for what I was expecting to pay for just the service call,
then gave me the repair price range, dependent on how much freon
the unit actually needed. I OK'd the work, he did it, the
end price was in the lower part of the quoted range, and an hour
later we're all enjoying the cool air again! Despite how
unpleasant it must be to be in the HVAC business in Arizona in
the summer, Monty was very upbeat. I get the impression
that everyone at Air Factor takes pride in and enjoys their work
and it was a pleasure to do business with them.

Last week one of your technicians
came out to my villa to check the air conditioner/heat pump on
the roof.
I was so impressed with this
gentleman as he took time to tell me all about my Tappan unit.
Other technicians who have checked this unit never took the time
to inform me what numbers on Amps, Watts, etc. meant.
Monty was not only professional, he was courteous and thorough.

Excellent, they got us in the
same day, gave us an estimate of the charge, and then had to
order the part, it came in the next day and they installed it
right away. After the technician completed the job, the
owner even came by to make sure everything was working good.

We couldn't be more pleased with
Air Factor's replacement of our heat pump. After checking
with the ROC and BBB and getting several bids, we decided to go
with them not only because of their clean record, but also
because of their strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Theirs was a first-class professional operation from start to
finish, just like Mike promised it would be. Out contacts

Benz. How is that for a compliment! The installers
did a very neat job, replacing the old with the new one.

In the last 20 years, "Customer
Service" has all but disappeared in this country. Lucky
for us they forgot to tell the folks at Air Factor Cooling &
Heating. I recently purchased an entire new system for my
house, choosing the Trane XL19i. Owner, Larry Littau,
personally came to my house and spent two hours measuring and
inspecting my entire living quarters including the attic!
This was done to assure that the unit I chose was right for my
house. The deal was made and one week later the
technicians, Chip and Monty, were at my door, 15 minutes early!,
ready to go. The entire event went flawlessly.
Thanks again Larry, for bringing back customer service.
